2.      Exercise
It is a no brainer that physical activity is responsible both for a health body and a sound mind. 3.      Take a deep breath
Though this may sound too good to be true, but the effects are long lasting. You need to close your eyes, and take three consecutive deep breaths while pausing after every breath. Hold your breath for five seconds before exhaling. If you feel deep breaths aren’t making much difference, you can try breathing exercises through yoga and meditation to help you cope with stress. You need to club this practice with positive thoughts, and chill out believing that everything will work in your favour. You will realize that this relieves your muscles encouraging them to work normally again. As it takes a mere moment of your time, you can try this out before your examinations.

4.      Pursue your hobbies
Hobbies help you relax your mind. Be it painting, going out or baking, do something that you genuinely love doing. You can try breaking up your study sessions with activities or hobbies you have a ball while pursuing.  This will help relieve some of your test tension and monotonous studying. Taking a break is not a green card to procrastinate; it is merely to let your brain have some time to integrate knowledge and become more focused. The flow of information needs to be slowed down every once in a while so that your brain can revamp and store new data.
If setting a timer helps you, then go ahead with it; but do not compromise with having a fun time while preparing for an important examination.

5.      Stay in control of your preparation
